Dan Griffith

Dan Griffith is a seasoned engineering program manager with extensive experience in the HDD and tape industry, currently serving as a Senior Director and Senior Technologist at Western Digital. They played a pivotal role in transforming Western Digital from a single desktop HDD company into a fully integrated leader in the industry, overseeing major integrations, including that of Read-Rite and Komag. Their previous roles include positions at Read Rite, Wangtek, IBIS Systems, Quantum, and Applied Magnetics, where they have demonstrated expertise in head/media integration and mechanical technology. Dan is pursuing a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Southern California while holding a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.
