John Read

John Read is an experienced engineer specializing in materials science and engineering, currently serving as a Research Staff Member at Western Digital. They have a background in developing nonvolatile memory materials and have previously worked at HGST, where they established deposition methods and correlated materials properties with device characteristics. John earned their Ph.D. in Physics from Cornell University, where they also contributed to graduate teaching and research as a Graduate Research Assistant.
