Phil Malatras

Phil Malatras serves as the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and Chief Security Officer (CSO) for Western Digital, leading the Global Information Security program and focusing on risk management, technology strategy, and security stakeholder collaboration since August 2016. Prior to this role, Malatras held the position of Senior Manager of Information Security at Broadcom, where responsibilities included managing network perimeter controls and conducting audits. Malatras also has extensive experience at Cisco Systems, overseeing global IT infrastructure and operations, and previously worked at Aimtech Corp. and M/A-COM, where initial IT management and software engineering roles were undertaken. Malatras holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from Rivier University and Bachelor's degrees in Computers and Management from Franklin Pierce University and Computer Science from Northeastern University.
