Ray Yang

Ray Yang is the Director of SSD ASIC Engineering at Western Digital Corp., where they lead an IP development team focused on delivering innovative subsystems for controllers across various business units. They possess extensive experience in mass storage system architecture and NAND Flash management techniques, having worked with global engineering teams on high-performance SSD designs. Ray has held key positions at several companies, including as Chief SSD Architect at Huawei Technologies and Chief Architect at Appotech USA, contributing to advanced enterprise SSD solutions. They hold a Master’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Syracuse University and are currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering at National Tsing Hua University.
