Yi Wang

Yi Wang is currently a Staff Engineer at Western Digital, focusing on product development engineering. They completed a PhD in Materials Science at Indiana University Bloomington, where they developed strategies for self-assembly and conducted extensive research on nanoparticle synthesis and characterization. Prior to this role, Yi served as a Teaching Assistant and Graduate Student at Indiana University and as a Research Assistant at Hong Kong Baptist University, where they worked on metal-free organic catalysts and advanced photocatalytic systems. Yi holds an MPhil in Chemistry from Hong Kong Baptist University and has studied abroad at the University of Leeds.
