Ken Karns

Ken Karns, CFE, currently serves as the Vice President of Operations at Western Fair Association since August 2025. Previously, Ken held the position of Chief Operating Officer at OC Fair & Event Center from February 2020 to August 2025, and Vice President of Operations at Orange County Fair and Event Centre from January 2016 to February 2020, where responsibilities included creating organizational vision, strategy, and overseeing significant operational projects. Ken's extensive experience at Western Fair Association, spanning from 1994 to January 2016, included roles such as Director of Facility Development and Director of Operations, focusing on capital projects and the association's Master Site Plan. Earlier professional history includes owning Karns Carpentry, specializing in home renovations and carpentry, along with a solid educational background in Business Administration from Fanshawe College and Building Construction from Saunders Secondary School.
