Steven Hofer

Steven Hofer joined Western Forest Products in September 2022 as the President and Chief Executive Officer. In this overall leadership role, he is accountable for the Company’s strategy and performance. Mr. Hofer is a strategic leader and experienced executive whose roles have spanned business development, operations, sales and marketing and product innovation. Mr. Hofer has over 30 years’ experience in the forest products industry, including executive sales and marketing and operations roles with Interfor and prior to joining Western was the Executive Vice President, Strategy & Business Development for private equity-owned BID Group.

Mr. Hofer holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Asian Studies from the University of Victoria and the Advanced Management Program from the University of Chicago.
