Nate Schwartz

Nate Schwartz is an experienced multimedia communications professional currently serving as an Internal Comms Representative at Western Governors University since October 2022. Prior to this role, Nate has built a diverse portfolio in media and communications, including positions as a Videographer at SLUG Magazine and Video Producer / Account Manager at Partners In Post. Additional experience includes video editing at KSTU-TV (FOX 13 News), trending and entertainment news reporting for Deseret News, multimedia journalism with Medill News Service, and a communications assistant role at Stanford University Graduate School of Business. Nate's background in education includes a Master's degree in Journalism from Northwestern University, a Certificate of Proficiency in Digital Cinema from Utah Valley University, and dual Bachelor's degrees in Spanish and Iberian Studies, as well as Latin American Studies from Brigham Young University. Furthermore, Nate has also held instructional and administrative roles, including Spanish Instructor and Assistant Shift Supervisor at New Haven Residential Treatment Center, and Receptionist at Stanford University.
