Kyle Shaver has extensive work experience in the field of information technology. Kyle currently serves as the Director of Information Technology at Western Growers since October 2018. Prior to this, they worked at MagnaFlow as an Infrastructure Manager and a Network Engineering Supervisor from April 2008 to September 2018. At PurposeDriven Ministries, they held the position of Network Manager from February 2004 to April 2008 and was responsible for various tasks such as network infrastructure management, domain migration, Active Directory design, and mentoring staff. Kyle also worked as a Network Manager at Saddleback Church from 2007 to 2008 and at Purpose Driven from 2004 to 2008. Before that, they served as a Contractor at BAX Global in 2003. In their earlier career, they held the role of Senior Network Engineer at Phoenix Technologies from 1997 to 2003 and as a Network Specialist at Mitsubishi Motors Credit of America from 1992 to 1997. Kyle also worked as a Senior Network/SaberLAN Administrator (contractor) at Metropolitan Water District from 1993 to 1995 and as the Director of Training at Advanced Inter Systems in 1992.
Kyle Shaver attended California State University, Long Beach from 1982 to 1986. During this time, they did not obtain a degree or specialize in a specific field of study. In 1984, they also briefly attended the University of North Dakota, where they focused on linguistics.
In addition to their formal education, Kyle Shaver has acquired several certifications. Kyle obtained the "PowerShell: Scripting for Advanced Automation" and "PowerShell: Scripting for Server Administration" certifications from LinkedIn in August 2020. Prior to that, in July 2020, they completed a certification in "MySQL Installation and Configuration" through LinkedIn. In May 2020, they received a certification in "Configure and Manage OneDrive and Teams" from LinkedIn. In January 2020, they completed the "Radical Candor (Blinkist Summary)" certification through LinkedIn. In October 2019, they obtained a certification in "DevOps Foundations" from LinkedIn. In August 2019, they completed a certification in "Security Testing: Vulnerability Management with Nessus" through LinkedIn. Lastly, in March 2018, they earned the "AWS Certified Solutions Architect" certification from Amazon Web Services.
