Lekan Ogunleye is an accomplished Addiction Psychiatrist currently serving at The Hamilton Centre, Western Health since February 2023, while also functioning as Principal Medical Advisor at Youth Support + Advocacy Service. Ogunleye has extensive experience as an Addiction and General Adult Psychiatrist at Wyndham Clinic Private Hospital since January 2020 and previously worked at The Royal Melbourne Hospital as part of the Substance Use and Mental Illness Treatment Team until September 2023. Additionally, Ogunleye has contributed to academia as a Clinical Lecturer at Deakin University from October 2014 to September 2023 and held key roles in mental health and addiction services at Barwon Health. Educational qualifications include a Master of Psychiatry from the University of Melbourne, a Master of Public Health and a Master of Health Management from UNSW, a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery from the University of Ibadan, and a Certificate in Addiction Psychiatry from The Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists.
