Mark Mossman

Mark Mossman serves as Interim Provost and Academic Vice President at Western Illinois University since August 2001, where previous roles have included Associate Provost for undergraduate and graduate studies, Interim Associate Provost, Chair of English and Journalism, and Professor of English, with a progression from assistant professor to associate professor. Prior experience includes serving as Assistant Professor of English at Bethany College from August 1999 to August 2001. Academically, Mark Mossman earned a Doctor of Philosophy in English Literature from Saint Louis University, a Master of Arts in English from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, and a Bachelor of Arts in English from the same institution.
