Austin Wang

Austin Wang is an accomplished political advocate and student leader with extensive experience in community organizing and governance. Currently serving as a Constituency Assistant to MPP Peggy Sattler at the Legislative Assembly of Ontario, Austin also holds the position of Riding Youth & Resource Development Coordinator with the Ontario New Democratic Youth, where efforts focus on mobilizing young voters and enhancing grassroots youth organizations. Austin's background includes roles as Chair of the Governance & Finance Standing Committee and Councillor for the University Students' Council at Western University, as well as significant field organizing experience with local campaigns and initiatives, such as those focused on affordable housing and municipal elections. Austin is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Politics, Philosophy and Economics at Western University, building on a foundation established through the International Baccalaureate at Colonel By Secondary School.
