Christopher Keator is an experienced academic and consultant specializing in laboratory animal resources and reproductive health. Currently serving as an Ad Hoc Consultant/Specialist at AAALAC International since September 2022, Christopher has also held multiple titles at Western Michigan University Homer Stryker M.D. School of Medicine since August 2014, including Assistant Dean and Associate Professor. Prior to this, Christopher was an Assistant Professor at Ross University School of Medicine from October 2011 to August 2014, focusing on reproductive modules within the Basic Sciences Curriculum. Christopher's earlier work includes a postdoctoral fellowship at the Oregon National Primate Research Center, addressing critical issues in women's reproductive health, and a graduate assistantship at the University of Connecticut, where teaching responsibilities encompassed various subjects in animal science. Christopher holds a PhD and MS in Animal Science with a focus on the Physiology of Reproduction from the University of Connecticut, as well as a BS in Biology from SUNY Oneonta.
