Hal Jenson serves as the Founding Dean, Emeritus at the Western Michigan University Homer Stryker M.D. School of Medicine, a position held since March 2011. Previously, Dr. Jenson held the role of Chief Academic Officer at Baystate Medical Center from August 2005 to March 2011, overseeing research activities and education programs. Additional leadership roles include Dean for Baystate Medical Center at Tufts University School of Medicine, Chair of the Department of Pediatrics at Eastern Virginia Medical School, and Pediatrician-in-Chief at Children's Hospital of The King's Daughters. Educational background includes an MBA from Texas McCombs School of Business, an MD from The George Washington University, and degrees in Zoology from Brigham Young University.
