M.D. Msc Yeow Hooi Lim

Yeow Hooi Lim, MD MSc, serves as the Palliative Care Medical Director at Optum since November 2023, previously holding the position of Associate Medical Director for Home and Community Care. Lim is also a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine at Western Michigan University Homer Stryker M.D. School of Medicine, where responsibilities include teaching palliative medicine to medical students and fellows. Lim has extensive experience as a Palliative Medicine Physician at Bronson Healthcare, providing care for advanced illness management for over six years, and has played a significant role in medical training as a pharmacy resident preceptor. Fellowships in Hospice and Palliative Medicine were completed at Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine, and earlier training includes internal medicine residency at AtlantiCare and Nassau University Medical Center.
