Joy Claar has extensive experience in the field of mental health and support services, currently serving as an Adult Case Manager at Western Montana Mental Health Center since December 2014. In this role, Joy is responsible for assessment, planning, advocacy, and support for individuals with mental and physical disabilities and drug addictions. Additionally, Joy has worked as a receptionist and fill-in homemaking manager at the Lake County Council on Aging since May 2012, and previously held positions as a Direct Support Person and Supported Living Coordinator at Mission Mountain Enterprises from July 2003 to June 2009. Joy Claar holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education and Teaching from the University of Montana and a Masters of Divinity from Shalom Bible School.

We have built and maintained our legacy by providing comprehensive services to the citizens of western Montana since 1971. The mission of the Western Montana Mental Health Center is to offer comprehensive behavioral health services to individuals and families in our communities that improve access, health, economic and social outcomes. Western Montana Mental Health Center accepts Medicare, Medicaid, Healthy Montana Kids Plus, Healthy Montana Kids (CHIP), most health insurance, and payment based on a sliding fee. Services will not be denied due to race, color, gender, national origin, disability, sexual orientation or inability to pay.
