Chris Heiner

Chris Heiner has a diverse background in the field of information technology, with a strong focus on network engineering and management. Chris began their career at FedEx in 1990 as a Network Support Engineer, where they worked until 1995. Chris then moved on to Compusupport as a Network Engineer for a year before starting their own business, AirData Wireless, where they served as a Network Engineer and Owner.

In 1996, Chris joined Network Designs, Inc. as a Network Engineer and Consultant, and they successfully managed the company until 2016. During this time, they also co-founded Grupo SMS Data Center, where they held the position of Senior Information Technology Manager from 2017 to 2019.

Chris's experience expanded further in 2019 when they joined D-Link USA as a Senior Network Engineer, Senior Information Technology Manager, and eventually as the Senior Manager of Information Technology Operations. Chris worked there until 2022, enhancing their expertise in network engineering and operations management.

Currently, Chris holds the position of Assistant Vice President of Information Technology at Western Mutual Insurance Group, displaying their progression and leadership within the industry.

Chris Heiner attended the University of Utah from 1985 to 1987, where they studied Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering. Chris then transferred to ITT Technical Institute in Sacramento, CA, from 1987 to 1989, continuing their studies in the same field.
