Kevin McFarlin Aic

Kevin McFarlin AIC has over 30 years of experience in the insurance industry. Kevin held various roles throughout their career. From 1990 to 2006, they worked at Farmers Mutual Insurance, starting as an Underwriter and eventually becoming an Executive Claims Specialist and Claims Manager. During their time at Farmers Mutual, Kevin developed and implemented a subrogation program, managed the daily operations of the claims department, and created an electronic claims notice and diary system.

In 2006, Kevin joined the Texas Windstorm Insurance Association (TWIA) as a Senior Claims Supervisor. Kevin represented TWIA at hearings and mediations, supervised litigated claims, and responded to consumer complaints from the Texas Department of Insurance. Kevin later became the Interim Vice-President of Claims and then the Senior Claims Manager at TWIA where they oversaw claim operations, managed employees, and reported to the Board of Directors.

Kevin then worked as an Independent Adjuster from 2012 to 2016, handling daily and catastrophe claims. Kevin joined Western Mutual Insurance Group in 2016, where they initially served as a Claim Supervisor and General Adjuster. Kevin was later promoted to the roles of Regional Manager and Assistant Vice President.

Throughout their career, Kevin McFarlin has demonstrated expertise in claim operations, litigation management, policy coverage decisions, and developing subrogation programs. Kevin has also presented continuing education workshops for adjusters and claim supervisors.

Kevin McFarlin AIC has an Associate degree in Claims from the Insurance Institute of America. Kevin also has a Bachelor's degree in Science Education from Texas State University. The duration of their education at each institution is not specified.
