Michael Walinder

Mike Walinder is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in information security and network administration. Recently self-employed since June 2023 after serving as an Information Security Specialist at Western Nebraska Community College, where responsibilities included managing the Mimecast Email filtering service and addressing email security threats. Prior to this, Mike held roles including Aircraft Mechanic at Great Plains Aviation and Network Specialist at Tri Valley Health System, managing desktop support and email server configurations. Additional experience includes serving as an Information Technology Specialist at Southeast Community College and Network Specialist II at Pinpoint Communications, focusing on network troubleshooting and design. Mike Walinder holds an Associate of Arts and Sciences degree in Computer Science from McCook Community College.
