Wendy Dennis

Wendy Dennis is a dedicated Nurse Practitioner with extensive experience in both primary care and urgent care environments. Currently serving at Western Nephrology since April 2020, Wendy previously held the position of ARNP at Mercy Medical Center from May 2014 to April 2020, where responsibilities included traveling to multiple urgent care locations and providing family practice coverage in rural Iowa. Additionally, Wendy has specialized in inpatient and outpatient cardiology services, focusing on the assessment and management of acute chest pain, heart failure, and arrhythmias. Educational achievements include a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from the University of Iowa and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from Mount Mercy University, along with a Bachelor of Arts in Recreation Administration & Marketing from Metropolitan State University of Denver.
