Elizabeth Mitchell

Elizabeth Mitchell is an experienced communications professional currently serving as the Director of Communications at Woodlawn Community Fellowship and holding the position of Communications Manager at the Metro District of the United Methodist Church since July 2022. With additional roles as a Communications Guide for the Western North Carolina Conference UMC and Interim Communications Manager at Davidson United Methodist Church, Elizabeth has demonstrated expertise in managing communications strategies. Previous experience includes serving as Director of Communications at Weddington United Methodist Church, and as a Senior Account Manager at both How To Be A Redhead and Freckles Social Media, where responsibilities involved brand maintenance, client relationship management, and content creation. Early career roles included positions in sales and training at Ann Taylor Factory and Loft Outlet, as well as a Learning Management System Specialist at CB&I. Elizabeth holds a Bachelor's Degree in Communication, Public Relations from Appalachian State University.
