Kurt Rote

Kurt Rote has had a varied career in the business world. Starting in 2004, they were a Supervisor/Project Coordinator at McMaster-Carr. Kurt then moved to Holcim US Inc. in 2006, taking on the role of Strategy and Business Development, Sr. Analyst. In 2011, they became Head of Product Development and Marketing at BiognoSYS AG, a proteomics service and product provider for pharmaceutical, diagnostics, biotechnology, and industrial companies. In 2012, they founded and became CEO of Western Oncolytics Ltd., which develops immuno-oncolytic cancer therapy. In 2019, they joined KaliVir Immunotherapeutics as a Board Member and Founder. Most recently, in 2020, they became a Principal at Longbow Immunotherapy.

Kurt Rote received their MBA from IMD in 2010 in Business Administration. Kurt obtained their B.S.E. from Duke University between 2001 and 2004 in Biomedical Engineering.
