Karen Sullivan-Vance

Karen Sullivan-Vance is an experienced academic professional currently serving as the Director of the Academic Advising and Learning Center at Western Oregon University since August 2005. Prior to this role, Karen was an Academic Advisor in the College of Education at Oregon State University from September 2003 to August 2005. Karen holds a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Educational Leadership from Portland State University, earned between 2008 and 2017, as well as a Master of Education (Ed.M.) in College Student Services Administration from Oregon State University, which was obtained from 2000 to 2002. Additionally, Karen received a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in English from the University of Puget Sound, completed between 1981 and 1985.
