Western Piedmont Council of Governments
Tommy Luckadoo currently serves as the Honorary Consul for the Republic of Estonia and is a board member for the Catawba County Board of Elections. Since July 2019, Tommy has been a member of the N.C. Education and Workforce Innovation Commission and has held the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors for Conservatives for Clean Energy since July 2014. As a member of the Policy Board for the Western Piedmont Council of Governments since April 2014, Tommy has also been President of Mayberry Partners, LLC, a commercial real estate investment and management company, since March 2011. Previous roles include Vice President at Adams Commercial Real Estate Services from 2005 to May 2022 and member of the North Carolina Teaching Fellows Commission from January 2017 to June 2019, as well as a board member for the Catawba County Board of Education from December 2014 to December 2018 and Chairman of the Western Piedmont Council of Governments Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy Committee from February 2017 to October 2017.

The WPCOG is a regional planning, economic development and service organization which serves 28 local governments in a four-county area of western North Carolina. Members include Alexander, Burke, Caldwell, and Catawba Counties and the 24 cities and towns within those counties. Since 1968, WPCOG has provided planning services, project administration and technical assistance to its member governments and the region as a whole. Its professional staff of 68 persons is headquartered in Long View, North Carolina.
