Rob MacKay is a semi-retired professional with extensive experience in sales and operations management. Currently providing planning support and system improvement work at WPInnova since May 2018, Rob transitioned into this role after retiring from Western Plastics, Inc., where Rob served as both Western Canada Sales and Operations Manager from January 2008 to the present. Prior experience includes a role as Supply Chain Manager at Procter & Gamble from June 2005 to August 2007. Rob holds a Bachelor of Science in Forestry from the University of Alberta, attended from 1977 to 1979, and is a graduate of Willow Creek Composite High.

Western Plastics manufactures foodservice films and foils and a complete line of industrial pallet stretch wrap in hand and machine rolls. Our foodservice line consists of cutterbox PVC cling film; aluminum foil rolls sheets and disposable foil containers. Also full lines of perforated cling and shrink sheets, mill roll films, meat and produce films. Industrial films include clear, opaque, colored, vented and printed stretch films. In addition disposable extended core handwrap and narrow width stretch banding films, bundling films, static dissipative films, U.V.I. films, pallet covers, laundry wrap, shrink films and Air-Flow vented pallet wrap.
