Benjamin Layton

Benjamin Layton is a seasoned professional in the oil and gas industry with extensive experience in well completions and technical management. Currently serving as a Well Completions Designer at Western Potash Corp. since November 2022, Benjamin also owns Legion Technical Services Ltd. since February 2022. Previously, Benjamin held various significant roles at STEP Energy Services from September 2012 to October 2021, including Technical Manager and Engineering Team Lead in Coiled Tubing Services, where responsibilities included coiled tubing job design and execution. Prior to that, Benjamin worked at Calfrac Well Services from February 2009 to August 2012 as a Technical Specialist and had roles as Field Fracturing Operator, Lab Technician, and Coiled Tubing Operator. Benjamin graduated with a degree in Petroleum Engineering from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology.
