Aaron Dempsey

Aaron Dempsey has extensive work experience in the field of aviation. Aaron currently holds the position of Chief Remote Pilot at Western Power since 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Heliwest Group as Chief Remote Pilot, Fixed Wing Pilot, Lead Observer, and Lead RePL Instructor from 2019 to 2022. Before that, they served as a Grade 3 Flight Instructor and Commercial Pilot at the Royal Aero Club of Western Australia from 2018 to 2022. Aaron also underwent training as a Commercial Pilot at Western Australia Aviation College as a student from 2018 to 2022. Aaron began their career in the family business support role from 2013 to 2017 before transitioning to the role of Senior Information Technology Officer at Queensland Health from 2009 to 2013. Aaron's early career involved serving as an Electronic Warfare Director in the Royal Australian Navy from 1999 to 2009.

Aaron Dempsey attended the Western Australian Aviation College from 2017 to 2018, where they pursued a degree in Aviation with a focus on Airline/Commercial/Professional Pilot and Flight Crew.
