Jody Touyz

Jody Touyz has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several industries. Jody is currently the Portfolio Value Office Lead at Western Power, a position they have held since February 2022. Prior to this, Jody served as the Director of Dress for Success Western Australia, starting in December 2017. In this role, they were responsible for providing women with professional attire and empowering them to break the cycle of poverty.

From September 2020 to October 2021, Jody worked as the Chief Strategy & Operating Officer at BDO in Australia. Before that, they spent several years at Western Power, holding various positions such as Grid Portfolio Manager, Business Transformation Workstream Manager, and Treasury Manager from 2013 to 2020.

Additionally, Jody has held positions at Eldien as an Independent Contractor from January 2012 to February 2013, at Deloitte as a Director from September 2009 to December 2011, at Sheridans Chartered Accountants as a Senior Manager from 2005 to 2009, at Woodside Energy as a Manager of Business Planning from 1998 to 2000, and at Arthur Andersen & Co., LLC as a Senior Manager from 1990 to 1997.

Jody Touyz has a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting & Finance from The University of Western Australia. Jody is also an Associate Chartered Accountant (ACA) with Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand. In addition to their formal education, Jody has obtained various certifications and completed programs such as First Aid for Mental Health from St John Ambulance, Women in Leadership Executive Program from Aventedge, Mind Matters from TLEX Australia, Developing Executive Presence and Leading without Formal Authority from LinkedIn, and the Rising Leader Program from Leadership WA.
