Marice Smith is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in product and client solutions leadership across various sectors. Currently serving as Product Lead at Western Power since July 2023, Marice is responsible for defining and maximizing value for Digital Product offerings. Previously, as Group Head of Client Solutions at aYo Holdings from September 2017 to June 2023, Marice built integrated capabilities to enhance product relevance and usability in African markets. Marice also held the position of Group Head of Customer Focus and Innovation at Jubilee Life Insurance Company Ltd. from November 2015 to August 2017, where the focus was on implementing growth strategies and driving digital transformation. Earlier roles at MTN Group included Service Delivery Model Lead and Senior Business Analyst, contributing to back office transformation and service delivery enhancements. Marice holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounting and Business/Management from the University of South Africa and has additional education in Business Management from Red and Yellow (University of Stellenbosch).
