Mary-Lou Barry

Mary-Lou Barry is a seasoned professional in organizational effectiveness and human resources, currently serving as a Senior Operational Effectiveness Consultant at Western Power since January 2023. With a strong background at Rio Tinto from 2019 to 2022, Mary-Lou contributed to capability development and operational excellence initiatives, partnering with leadership to enhance mining knowledge and establish strategic programs across global operations. Mary-Lou's experience also includes a pivotal role as Global HR Lead at TASNEE, where talent development frameworks were implemented, and as APAC HR Regional Manager at Cristal, focusing on HR strategies that improve performance and employee relations. Educational qualifications span a Master’s in Human Resources Management from Deakin University and additional certifications in training and management.
