Nelly Simon GAICD has a diverse work experience spanning several companies. Starting in 1999, they worked as a Business Analyst at Petra Management Sdn Bhd. In the same year, they also served as a Financial Controller at The Carat Club. In 2002, Nelly joined GESB as a Finance Manager and held the role for eight years until 2010. During their time at GESB, they successfully managed financial operations. In 2010, Nelly joined Western Power as the Finance Manager - Capital before being promoted to Financial Accounting Manager. Nelly later became the A/Head of Finance & Metering in 2020 and was eventually appointed as the Head of Finance & Metering in February 2021. With their extensive experience and expertise in finance and management, Nelly has made significant contributions to the organizations they have worked for.
Nelly Simon GAICD completed their Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree in Accounting and Business Law from Curtin University between 1990 and 1993. Additionally, they obtained a Diploma of Project Management from PMI in 2013.
