Jared Speer

Jared Speer is a Systems Administrator at Western Reserve Hospital since March 2015, specializing in the technical design and implementation of mission-critical enterprise systems. Key responsibilities include managing over 250 devices through SolarWinds, utilizing SQL Management Studio for database administration, and deploying VMware ESXi hosts. Recognized as a SolarWinds MVP in 2018 and currently pursuing SolarWinds SAM Certification, Jared previously served as an Applications Administrator, where significant improvements in infrastructure observability were achieved. Additionally, Jared owns J Speer Graphics, a photography business established in 2011, and has prior experience as a Service System Engineer at Diebold, where responsibilities included deploying solutions based on customer needs and managing VPN services. Jared began their career in various roles, including general office help and warehouse management, while earning a Bachelor's degree in Aviation/Airway Management and Operations from Kent State University.
