Lecy Gillespie has a diverse professional background with experience in both education and outdoor leadership. Currently serving as a Reservation Specialist at Western River Expeditions since June 2018, Lecy previously worked as a Spanish-speaking Nutrition Education Assistant at Utah State University Extension, where Lecy taught nutrition classes and translated recipes for low-income adults. Additional roles include Hispanic Outreach Intern, conducting data analysis and translations for pilot programs, and SEED Intern at Utah State University's Jon M. Huntsman School of Business, where Lecy aided individuals in developing business plans. Lecy's earlier experience as a Whitewater River Guide-Captain showcased skills in guest engagement and education about local geology and wildlife. Lecy began a career path with a Bachelor of Science in Health Education and Promotion, complemented by a minor in Spanish from Utah State University.
