Chelsea Villalba

Chelsea Villalba, REM, currently serves as the Director of Environmental at Western Sugar Cooperative, focusing on capital improvement and pollution reduction projects while collaborating with engineering teams on sustainable design and regulatory compliance. Villalba also holds a volunteer leadership position with the Sustainable Neighborhood Network, coordinating sustainability initiatives for the Applewood Villages Sustainable Neighborhood. Previous experience includes roles as Corporate Environmental Manager at CoorsTek, Inc., and Environmental/Community Outreach Manager at CEMEX, where expertise was applied in environmental regulations, community engagement, and project management. Villalba began a professional career as an Environmental Inspector I with the Kentucky Department for Environmental Protection and started in healthcare as a Certified Nursing Assistant. A Bachelor of Science in Biology from Western Kentucky University was obtained in 2010.
