Ashfaque Quadir

Ashfaque Quadir is a highly experienced medical professional specializing in paediatric cardiac critical care. Currently serving as a Fellow at The Hospital for Sick Children since June 2025, Ashfaque also holds the position of Clinical Senior Lecturer at the University of Sydney, where involvement spans various academic roles since January 2017. In addition to these roles, Ashfaque works as a VMO Paediatrician at Western Sydney Local Health District. Previous experience includes multiple positions at Sydney Children's Hospitals Network, culminating in a Paediatric Intensive Care Fellowship, and serving as Co-Chair and Board Member at the Academy of Child & Adolescent Health. Ashfaque’s educational background includes a Master of Medicine from the University of Sydney, a Pediatric Leadership Program Certificate from Harvard Medical School, and a Doctor of Medicine with Distinction from UNSW. Currently pursuing a PhD at the University of Sydney focused on Transfusion in Paediatric Critical Care, Ashfaque continues to contribute significantly to the field of pediatric medicine.
