Luke Taylor

Acting Director, Allied Health at Western Sydney Local Health District

Luke Taylor is an experienced healthcare professional currently serving as the Acting District Director of Allied Health at Western Sydney Local Health District since August 2021, where responsibilities include governance and leadership of the allied health workforce. Previously, Luke held roles such as Clinical Network Manager for Specialty Medicine and Sub Acute & Ambulatory Medicine, and Operations Manager for COVID Community Care during the 2021 Delta outbreak, overseeing care for approximately 13,000 patients. With a strong background in podiatry, Luke has also been the President of the Podiatry Council of New South Wales and a member of the Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Health Strategy Group. Additional experience includes serving as Director of Podiatry at South Western Sydney Local Health District and as Chair of the Forum of Council Presidents. Luke holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Podiatry from Western Sydney University and a Graduate Certificate in Diabetes Management from the University of Technology Sydney.
