Mike Hollands

Mike Hollands is a seasoned medical professional with a distinguished career spanning several decades. Since January 1989, Mike has served at the Western Sydney Local Health District as the Chairperson of the Clinical Council and the Healthcare Quality and Safety Committee, while also practicing as a General Surgeon. Additionally, Mike is a Board Member of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons for the Foundation for Surgery since May 2012 and has held the position of President and Chair of the Board at MDA National since 2013. Mike also contributes to academia as a Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Sydney since October 2011 and has practiced at Westmead Private Hospital since January 2000. Previously, Mike held the role of Chairperson for the Committee of Presidents of Medical Colleges from November 2013 to November 2015. Educationally, Mike completed an MB BS (Hons) in Medicine at UNSW from 1970 to 1976.
