Sia Anthopoulos

Sia Anthopoulos has 13 years’ experience working in government communications. She holds a Bachelor of Communication from the University of Western Sydney.

Sia has experience working on large-scale campaigns and communications projects for national and global brands and government agencies.

Some of the brands Sia has represented include Parramatta City Council, Fairfield City Council, Screen Australia, Commercial Radio Australia, Michael Hill International, Nickelodeon Australia and MTV Networks Australia. Sia has supported three NSW Government ministers as a media advisor. One of Sia’s notable achievements is establishing and overseeing Western Sydney Local Health District’s social media presence, which achieved a record reach of more than 1 million people in 2019.

Sia is leading a team of communications professionals specialising in internal communications, multimedia, social media, media relations, website and graphic design.

Sia is responsible for leading a team that provides effective, timely and proactive communications to more than 1 million people residing in Western Sydney Local Health District and beyond, as well as its 14,000 staff members.
