Gaven Morris

Gaven Morris is an accomplished media executive with extensive experience in journalism and news management. Currently serving as an Industry Professor at Western Sydney University since February 2022, Gaven previously held the role of Managing Director at Bastion Transform and served on the Advisory Board for Region Media Group from December 2021 to June 2024. Gaven's long tenure at the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) from September 2008 to December 2021 included leadership positions such as Director of News, Analysis & Investigations, where Gaven led a national team to strengthen ABC News' digital presence, and Head of News Content, overseeing a wide range of news platforms.
