George Africa

George Africa serves as an Adjunct Professor at Western Sydney University in the School of Computing Engineering and Mathematics since March 2018, focusing on teaching computing, enterprise architecture, and data science to graduate students while contributing to course development. With extensive experience at IBM spanning two decades, including roles as Architect Manager and Executive IT Architect, George has been instrumental in leading digital transformations and building robust architecture solutions for hybrid-cloud environments. Notable achievements include managing IT Health Checks for high-profile clients and bridging client needs with organizational strategies. Prior to IBM, George held managerial positions at Computer Sciences Corp Limited and ICL Systems.
