Trevor Johnstone

Trevor Johnstone has extensive experience in technical and management roles within various industries. Currently serving as a Senior Technical Officer at Western Sydney University since April 2012, Trevor oversees the new Architecture School within the School of Building and Environment. Prior to this, Trevor was a Business Partner at Castle Hill Raceway from July 1995 to December 2016, where responsibilities included organizing state, national, and international radio control car racing events. Trevor's career also includes positions as Model Shop Supervisor at Electrolux Home Products and Model Maker at Sunbeam Australia & New Zealand. Earlier experience includes working as a Foreman at W&J Johnstone Custom Built Furniture. Trevor possesses a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment from Workplace Skills Australia and a CNC Machining Certificate IV from Mount Druitt TAFE, along with a Certificate IV in Cabinetmaking and Advanced Furniture Manufacturing from Granville TAFE. Educational background includes attendance at Greystanes High School.
