Shelby Reyes

Shelby Reyes, MPH, CCEP, is an experienced public health professional currently serving as the Manager of Infection Prevention & Control and University Compliance at Western University of Health Sciences, where responsibilities include managing COVID-19 testing initiatives and developing university protocols. Previous roles include Clinical Coordinator and Assistant Professor at Western University, where coordination of clinical rotations for post-licensure MSN students occurred. Additionally, Shelby taught public health courses at California State University San Marcos and worked as a Nutrition Educator at Leah's Pantry. Early career experiences include serving as a Randall Lewis Health Policy Fellow with the City of Pomona and a trainer at King’s Fish House, along with a research assistantship at USC Keck School of Medicine focused on health promotion. Shelby holds a Master's degree in Public Health Education and Promotion from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from California State University-Dominguez Hills.
