Catherine Yee

Catherine Yee, MD, serves as the Chief Medical Officer and Interventional Physiatrist at Western Washington Medical Group since October 2016 and holds the position of Clinical Instructor at the University of Washington School of Medicine since May 2018. Previously, Catherine Yee worked as a Medical Advisor for "Second Opinion with Joan Lunden" at WXXI Public Broadcasting Council from 2009 to 2022, contributing to discussions aimed at enhancing doctor-patient communication and navigating healthcare. Catherine Yee's extensive training includes a fellowship in Pain Medicine at the University of Iowa Health Care and residency in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at Schwab Rehabilitation Hospital, both highly accredited programs. Catherine Yee's medical foundation was built through a preliminary year in Internal Medicine at Unity Health System and educational achievements, including an MD from the University of Iowa and a BA from Columbia University. Prior to pursuing medicine, Catherine Yee worked as a Financial Analyst in various sectors, including corporate and international finance.
