Darrin Magee

Darrin Magee currently serves as the Director of the Institute for Energy Studies at Western Washington University, having transitioned from a 15-year tenure in the Environmental Studies Program at Hobart and William Smith Colleges. In addition to the directorship, Darrin holds the title of Professor, where courses focus on human-environment interactions concerning energy, water, and waste. Previous roles include China Fellow at the Rocky Mountain Institute and Executive Director of the National Youth Science Foundation. Darrin's educational background includes a PhD in Geography from the University of Washington and multiple degrees in diverse fields, such as Mathematics and China Studies.
