Carly Kaplan

Carly Kaplan currently serves as the Inclusion Coordinator at Westfield Area Y, a position held since March 2023. Kaplan has an extensive background in education, having worked as a Teacher in the Cranford Public School District since August 2014 and previously as a Camp Director at The Westfield Y from June 2006 to March 2023. Additional experience includes roles as a Piano Teacher at The Music Workshop and Loria Music, a Kindergarten Teacher at Trinity Episcopal Day School, and a Teacher Assistant at both Deron School and YCS George Washington School. Kaplan began a career in child care as a Camp/Before Care/After Care Counselor at The Westfield Y from June 1996 to January 2001. Educational qualifications include a BA in Psychology with a minor in Music from Rutgers University and an AA in Psychology from UCNJ Union College.
