Michael Jeans

Michael Jeans is currently a board member at Westfield. Michael was previously with Westfield Bank, Growth Opportunity Partners, Inc., and most recently Urban Partnership Bank. At Urban Partnership Bank, they served as the Regional Market Director, Head of Business Banking/C&I. In this role, they were responsible for managing a line of business and a C&I portfolio of approximately $300MM. Michael also led sales teams in Cleveland, Detroit, and Chicago. Michael was successful in relocating the first branch in Detroit and creating new bank policies, recreating credit policy, designing CRM template for C&I, introducing sales process, and working with lead FDIC examiner on portfolio restructures to be compliant with Share Loss Agreement between the bank and the Fed. Michael also approved new and renewed credit requests, within authority limit, for C&I and approved transfers in and out of C&I portfolio to other LOBs, including Managed Assets. Michael was involved with all Managed Assets credit restructuring in Cleveland and Detroit for the CDFI. Michael built C-Level relationships and sold services at high level, as the face of the bank in regional markets. Team sales goals were exceeded by over 250% in 2012. Recently, they finalized a consulting agreement with the bank.

Michael Jeans' educational career began with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and Management from Ashland University. Michael then continued their education at Shaker Heights Senior High.
