Jessica Watson Coleman

Jessica Watson Coleman is an experienced art educator currently serving as an Art Teacher at Westfield Washington Schools since August 2022. With a rich background in teaching, Jessica has been a Teaching Artist for School and Community Programs at the Indianapolis Museum of Art since January 2010, where responsibilities include developing and instructing professional development opportunities for teachers, summer camp curriculum, and special family art activities. Previously, Jessica taught at the Comal Independent School District, where an elementary art specialist role was held, leading to recognition as District Teacher of the Year in 2020 and receiving the Trinity Prize in Education in 2021. Additional experience includes teaching art at Indianapolis Public Schools, SENSE charter school, and Michigan City Area Schools. Jessica holds a Master of Arts in Art Education from Indiana University Indianapolis and a Bachelor of Arts in Art Education from Purdue University.
