David Tieche

David Tieche is an experienced teaching pastor currently serving at WestGate Church in San Jose, CA, since March 2014, where responsibilities include overseeing organizational communication and shaping church culture. Prior to this, David co-authored the best-selling book "The Grown-ups Guide to Teenage Humans" while working with HarperOne Publishers from 2016 to 2017. David also held positions as a Teaching and Youth Pastor at Family Community Church and contributed as a writer for multiple publications, including Zondervan and Tyndale House Publishers. Earlier career experiences include teaching English at Gunderson High School and working as a technical writer. David holds a Master of Arts in Theology from Western Seminary and has additional degrees in Secondary Education and English Composition.
