Liyuan Huang is an experienced planner with a strong background in urban design and project management. Currently serving as a Planner at Westgroup Designs since August 2016, Liyuan Huang oversees project planning from the conceptual phase to execution, coordinating with various stakeholders. Prior experience includes working as an Urban Designer at Skidmore Owings & Merrill LLP (SOM), developing design concepts for diverse communities, and as a Designer/Planner I at Bassenian Lagoni Architects, where Liyuan Huang contributed to large-scale community projects. An early internship at Planetizen involved gathering user survey data and research for the urban planning field. Liyuan Huang holds a Master of City Planning with a focus on Urban Design from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Engineering in Urban Planning from Hefei University of Technology.
