Zachary Hills

Zachary Hills is an experienced engineer currently serving as a Core Design and Safety Analysis Engineer at Westinghouse Electric Corporation since October 2022. Prior to this role, Zachary worked as a Mechanical Engineer at Enercon Services, Inc., where responsibilities included assisting with the License Renewal Implementation team and contributing to the Inspection of Internal Surfaces Aging Management Program. As a Graduate Research Assistant at Idaho National Laboratory, Zachary developed software for neutronics simulations while completing a Master's in Nuclear Engineering. Earlier roles included a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Oregon State University and an Undergraduate Research Assistant at The University of Kansas, where Zachary developed algorithms for climate data simulations. Zachary holds a Master of Engineering in Nuclear Engineering from Oregon State University and a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics and Physics from The University of Kansas.
